Our reception staff (dial 0) will be happy to help with ferry and water taxi schedules, dinner reservations, spa appointments, island sight seeing or fishing charters, and anything else you may need to fully enjoy your vacation at Drakes View Villa.

We highly recommend you ask our reception staff to reserve a rental car during your stay. You'll have maximum flexibility in choosing when and where to venture.


1	Water taxis to The Sand Box, Saba Rock, Bitter End, Biras Creek, The Fat Virgin.
2	Ferries to Road Town, Tortola; Beef Island (airport); St.Thomas, USVI.

The Sand Box - Classic beach bar serving burgers, sandwiches, fries etc. very laid back with plenty of beach chairs.

Saba Rock Restaurant - great place for lunch or buffet dinner at the opening to North Sound - favorite spot with the yachting crowd.

Almond Walk Restaurant at Bitter End Yacht Club - monday night buffet and dancing to DJ music - live band and dancing every friday.

Biras Creek Restaurant - rated one of the Caribbean's best with spectacular view of North Sound - dress code and reservations required for dinner.

The Fat Virgin - very casual dockside lunch spot with excellent cheeseburgers and chicken roti - wonderful gift shop nearby.

The Restaurant at Leverick Bay - enjoy lunch or dinner on the Leverick Bay waterfront - live music and dancing every friday.

Sugar Cane Restaurant at Nail Bay - casual bar and restaurant serving great food just a four minute walk from Drakes View Villa - open for lunch and dinner.

Pavilion at Little Dix Bay - elegant dining at one of the Caribbean's top resorts serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner - famous for sunday brunch and monday dinner buffet.

Chez Bamboo - excellent dinner cuisine in a casual setting - live music and dancing every friday.

Bath and Turtle - casual open air bar and restaurant at the Yacht Harbor in Spanish Town serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner - live music and dancing every wednesday.

Rock Cafe - wonderful food in a casual indoor/outdoor setting - ask for a table outside by the boulders - live piano music and dancing every night - dinner only.

Mad Dog Cafe - famous small bar and cafe at the top of the Baths known for super BLT's.

Top of the Baths - located at the entrance to the famous Baths serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner - our favorite for a great breakfast with a spectacular view.

Poor Man's Bar - a beachside watering hole with snacks and sandwiches at The Baths - sip a cool one while wading through the boulders.

Mine Shaft Cafe - great food, powerful drinks, panoramic view, steady breeze - it doesn't get any better for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

Mountain Trunk Beach - a four minute walk from Drakes View Villa, this is the perfect beach - secluded, never crowded, great swimming with sandy bottom straight out and great snorkeling over beautiful coral at each end - beach chairs and sun shades for guest use.

Pond Bay Beach - very nice stretch of white sand that's rarely visited - no chairs or shade.

Savannah Bay Beach - beautiful arc of white sand and shallow turquoise water - one of the Caribbean's most photographed.

Spring Bay Beach - a lovely secluded white sand beach with offshore boulders forming a protected ocean pool - easy walk from public parking area.

Devils Bay Beach - a famous beach at the far end of the Baths - soft sand and good snorkeling - morning is the best time to avoid winter cruise ship visitors.

1	Bitter End Yacht Club - sailboat rentals, fishing charters, windsurfing, island sightseeing.
2	Captain Donnell Fishing Charter - leave from Gun Creek dock.
3	Leverick Bay Water Sports - dinghy rentals, water skiing.
4	Long Bay - a short drive from Nail Bay to great snorkeling spot - best fish life is found just off the rocky shore all the way to the point.
5	Mountain Trunk Beach - superb snorkeling over coral at each end of the beach - turtles are regularly spotted in the area around the point at the south end.
6	Gorda Peak - a scenic hike to the highest point on the island (1500') - spectacular 360° views at the top from the observation platform - a 30 - 45 minute walk from a well marked trailhead along the main road.
7	Day Trip to Tortola - regular ferry service to Road Town, capital of the BVI - large selection of shops, restaurants, and beaches - hire a taxi at the Road Town ferry dock to see the island or just spend the day walking around town.
8	Dive B.V.I at the Yacht Harbor in Spanish Town - PADI certified dive instructors offer daily scuba diving and snorkeling excursions to the area's top dive spots. Double D Charters at the Yacht Harbor in Spanish Town - day charters to neighboring islands aboard motor or sailing yachts - combines sightseeing, snorkeling, and scuba diving (for certified divers).
9	The Baths - wade through the huge boulders along Virgin Gorda's southwestern shore and end up at Devils Bay - best known attraction in the BVI.
10	Coppermine Ruins - explore the remains of a 19th century copper mine at the island's southeast corner - combine with a visit to the Mine Shaft Cafe.
