| We stayed in the drakes view home aug 2011. It is a great quiet getaway. The staff at nail bay were awesome, the property was well maintained. Everyone was very helpful even when a tropical storm blew in stranding us there for an additional 2 nights.
the only thing is that it is tough is getting there, you have to take ferries or a private charter which can prove challenging.
Stayed August 2011, traveled with family

Quiet, peaceful times in the BVI. Loved VG !!
The Snorkeling was much better than expected.. Saw tons of live corals and sponges, turtles, tarpon, barracuda, etc, etc. Loved having a private pool and villa. A " home away from home ". Had a great day trip with Dave at Double 'D' Charters. Good eats at the Mineshaft Cafe, Bath & Turtle and Sugarcane. Terrific staff at nail bay. Many thanks to Kasha, Sylvia, Tracy, Eulina & Sarge.

My husband and I are retired and have stayed at Drakes View for the last 4 years. We rent the upstairs unit which is 2 bedrooms, 2 private baths, living room, dining area, full kitchen and wonderful deck (includes gas grill and patio furniture as well). "Upstairs" is not really upstairs at all since the unit is accessable from street level and does not require walking up any steps or stairs... that's a plus for us seniors. All the amenities of home are included - even satelite TV The ocean view from the deck is spectacular and the weather is generally near perfect in Feb and March. Trunk bay beach is a short walk down the hill or you can use the unit's private pool which is pictured on this web page. Its family friendly and an overall great place to stay New England Retirees

| Drakes View villa was perfect. Beautiful location. Incredible view from the villa and deck. Total privacy. Fabulous well equipped kitchen. Incredibly helpful staff. Just a short walk to Mountain Trunk beach which we had to ourselves mostly. Book this now for a lovely warm winter escape.

Incredible place. Loved the snorkeling. Reefs to the left and right of Mt. Trunk beach are better than anything you’ll see at the Baths. Go to the Baths once-take pictures. It’s low season, but still a ton of people there.Ate at Top of the Baths and Mineshaft. Great food at both; menu was similar at both. Lunch for 7 of us was about $150. Staff here at Nail Bay is wonderful. Always there if you need something. We came here after 12 vacations to Turks and Caicos which we thought was heaven. Virgin Gorda puts it to shame! We’ll be back next June!

| From Petersburg, Alaska to Virgin Gorda. Doesn't get any sweeter than this. All the beaches are pristine and the friendliness of the staff has made our trip wonderful.

Our family of four has stayed in this villa anumber of times over the past few years and have enjoyed it very much. The unit is well kept and you can tell that the owners really care and take pride in their home by keeping it fresh and up to date. The pool and deck are delightful. The home is located within a short walk to the beach which is a real plus. We will be returning again over Christmas and are already very much looking forward to our stay there! Treepalm

| This was our first time to the resort, and we were more than pleased. We've already begun planning our next trip back! This was a great chance for our family to spend time together and relax. The private pool and deck were so nice! And besides a rainstorm at the beginning of the week, the weather was absolutely perfect. Provided some great opportunities for snorkeling and beach games. Make sure to go to the Baths if you get the chance.
Kasha and the rest of the staff were so helpful and nice and made our stay hassle free. We can't wait to come back, what a great way to ring in the New Year.

| Wow! what a beautiful place! After the hustle and bustle of St.Thomas, Virgin Gorda is just what we'd hoped for. The peace and tranquility was amazing. It's back to Alaska where it's still cold and snow covered. I sure wish we could stay till May. Thank you to the staff who made our stay terrific -I'm going to tell all my friends!
